Monitor & remote
Monitor is a live grid: every channel (with A/B/O bus dots), a Bus A and Bus B preview, and a double-size Master cell in the middle. Master carries the watermark for non-paying accounts; channel and bus cells are always clean.
The Master cell header has an independent preview target selector — switch between Master (flat mix), any configured Screen (mapped output with Surface Control and Bus O overlays), and 3D Stage (all screens in 3D — drag to rotate, pan, and zoom). With one screen it appears as a 3-way toggle; with multiple screens it becomes a dropdown.
Phone / tablet mixer
The phone or tablet must be on the same local network (Wi-Fi) as the host. Cellular and guest networks that isolate clients will not connect.
Open the Remote Pairing modal from the header icon on any workspace screen: it shows a QR code, the URL, and a 6-character code (letters/digits that can't be misread — no 0/O/1/I/L). Close it with the X or by clicking outside; it auto-closes when a remote connects.
- Scan the QR, or open /remote on the device and type the code. Opening the main site on a phone shows a desktop-only nag — use
/remoteinstead. - Codes expire after about 5 minutes — regenerate from the header Remote Pairing icon if it lapses.
- One remote at a time. A second device joining the same code kicks the first. Regenerating the code also kicks the paired phone.
What the remote controls
Per channel: clip selection, opacity fader, mute, solo, blackout, freeze, the bus switch (taps cycle A → B → O), and the channel FX toggle. O skips both buses and the crossfader — pick All vs a surface on the host inspector. Global: crossfader and Bus A/B FX toggles. Changes apply live on the host from any panel — you don't have to stay on Monitor.
Cellular or a guest network that isolates clients will not connect.
